This is an 8-9 mile RT hike with a 3300 ft gain. Craig Romano calls this hike “Simply spectacular.  One of the best hikes on the planet". He rates it a 4 out of 5. WTA claims its "One of the Crown Jewels of hiking in Washington State". It has sprawling meadows bursting with wild flowers, granite slabs, waterfalls, snow fields, stunning views and a historic fire lookout !!  You will see the summit sites of Elderado, Forbidden, Boston, and Sahale among others!!  There is at least one stream crossing, and there are biting flies (bring protection). Possible social following the hike.
